Ex-Panthers head coach Ron Rivera says he intends to continue coaching in the NFL, and he may know someone with an upcoming job opening.
After getting the boot from new owner David Tepper on Tuesday, Rivera said he has no plans to leave the league. The 57-year-old is still hoping to win a Super Bowl as head coach after winning it all as a linebacker for the Bears in 1985.
“Absolutely,” said Rivera, who was speaking at his farewell news conference Wednesday, when asked whether he wanted to coach again. “My intent is to coach again.
