Giants rookie receiver Roger Lewis Jr. said he’ll ask Eli Manning to sign the football he caught in the end zone on Sunday for his first career touchdown. Lewis got to keep the ball even though that particular pass had some historical significance for the quarterback as well.

Lewis’ first touchdown was also the 300th TD pass for Manning.

“No problem,” Manning said on Tuesday, admitting he didn’t even know it was a milestone scoring pass. “He can have it. It’s his first one, I’ve got 300 other ones. That first one is a special one and he deserves it.
