Jon Beason is only 30 years old and is built like a tank, but his body has betrayed him and he has acknowledged that the end of the line is nearing.
Beason is facing knee surgery this offseason and how he recovers from that procedure will determine, in his mind, if his NFL career is through.
“For me, I want to make that decision,’’ Beason said Friday on Sirius XM NFL Radio. “You go through the rehab process and you get back out there and you run around and you decide, ‘Hey, I can still be who I once was.
