EAST RUTHEFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Coach Ben McAdoo has said he’s not overly concerned about the Giants’ offensive line, yet in a surprise move, Big Blue has reached a deal to bring tackle Will Beatty back into the fold, according to multiple reports.
According to ESPN, the Giants will sign Beatty to a one-year contract that guarantees him $1.1 mllion and includes up to $750,000 more in incentives.
The Giants released Beatty in February. A second-round draft pick in 2009, Beatty was the Giants’ starting left tackle from 2011-14 but missed all of last season with a torn pectoral muscle suffered while lifting weights in the offseason.
