With New York Giants’ punter Riley Dixon having some what of a down season in 2020, there was some thought that he could end up being released this offseason in order to save some money under the cap.
Dixon is scheduled to make $2.75 million and have a cap hit of $2.925 million in 2021. So releasing wouldn’t be a terrible idea. But it looks like he’s not going anywhere.
Dan Duggan of The Athletic says that there isn’t any indication that the Giants will be moving on from Dixon.
The Giants re-signed steady long snapper Casey Kreiter to a one-year minimum contract with a $987,500 cap hit.
