Report: Landon Collins could need second surgery on his broken forearm

Mike Garafolo of NFL.com is reporting that New York Giants All-Pro safety Landon Collins could need a second surgery to help his fractured forearm heal.

Giants S Landon Collins’ arm isn’t healing as quickly as docs would hope and might soon undergo surgery to plate the break again, sources say. Timeline for a recovery would be about six to eight weeks to return to full football activity. So he’d miss the spring, be back for camp.

Garafolo adds in a subsequent tweet that no final decision has yet been made, but it sounds to him as though surgery is “very possible.
