Report: Josh Brown admitted to domestic violence

According to documents obtained by NJ Advanced Media, New York Giants placekicker Josh Brown admitted to abusing his wife in journal entries and correspondence with friends.

“I have physically, mentally, emotionally and verbally been a repulsive man. ... I have abused my wife. ... I may need an anger counselor.”

Brown’s then-wife, Molly, recounts in her own journal entry Brown “pushes, shoves hits me because I challenge him. ... says women like me get hit because we can’t shut up.”

Brown served a one-game suspension at the beginning of the season for a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy, a suspension resulting from a 2015 domestic violence arrest.
