There was a report earlier this week that the New York Giants were growing confident in the fact that they might be able to re-sign free agent defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins.
It sounds like Hankins is not in a rush to sign with any team.
Dan Graziano of ESPN says Hankins is going to wait until he gets what he wants instead of rushing to sign a contract that he’s not happy about.
Johnathan Hankins is an unrestricted free agent. That gives him some say in his situation. Most players get that once or twice in a career, if they’re lucky.
