There was a slight chance that New York Giants’ offensive coordinator Jason Garrett was going to leave this offseason after he interviewed for the Los Angeles Chargers’ open head coaching job. Of course fans of Big Blue were hoping that they would move on from him after the Giants’ offense ranked 31st in the league in 2020, but that’s not happening.
Jordan Raanan of ESPN mentioned in his recent Breaking Big Blue podcast that Garrett won’t be leaving this offseason and that he will be back for next season.
Now the Giants have made it clear that they want to keep Garrett and were hoping he wouldn’t leave this offseason because they want to keep quarterback Daniel Jones in the same offense and don’t want to keep changing things on him.
