Report: Golden Tate won’t play against Washington

All week New York Giants’ wide receiver Golden Tate ran with the scout team instead of practicing with the starting offense after complaining about not getting the football during Monday night’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tate playing with the scout team was a punishment from head coach Joe Judge and as of Friday his status for this week’s game against the Washington Football Team was up for grabs.

Kim Jones and Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that Tate didn’t travel with the Giants down to Washington for Sunday’s NFC East showdown.
