With all of the drops that New York Giants starting tight end Evan Engram had last season, people have been wondering if he will be their long term answer at tight end with his contract running out in 2022.
It turns out that the Giants in fact tried to sign Hunter Henry before he agreed to play for the New England Patriots, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.
Henry would have been nice, but I wonder if the Giants would have tried to trade Engram then. Also does this mean they’re willing to use the 11th overall pick on Florida’s Kyle Pitts?
