According to a tweet by Ralph Vacchiano of the NY Daily News, the New York Giants have released Preston Parker. Parker was the receiver the Giants mind bogglingly kept despite not being good for the Giants. Parker had 5 dropped passes this season. One of these drops was on a critical fourth down- yet the game should have never come down to that one play.
Parker will not be missed by fans of the Giants. There was growing frustration that the Giants cut their preseason leading receiver James Jones, and kept Parker. Jones has scored three touchdowns already this season with Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball as a Green Bay Packer.
