Report: Giants, Nate Solder working on contract restructure

The New York Giants made a big change to their offensive line this week when they released veteran guard Kevin Zeitler.

Another offensive lineman that New York could end up releasing is veteran tackle Nate Solder. Right now though it looks like both sides are trying to restructure his contract in order to free up more cap space and keep him around.

Dan Duggan of The Athletic reported on Thursday that there is optimism that Solder will play for the Giants in 2021 as they try to work things out.

It’s obvious that if the Giants thought they wouldn’t be able to get something done with Solder that they would have likely released him by now.
