This past week there was a report out that the New York Giants were confident that they would be able to come to an agreement with veteran offensive tackle Nate Solder on a restructured contract. Now it looks like it is definitely going to get done.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that the Giants and Solder have agreed in principle on a restructured contract that will keep him around.
This is great for the Giants because it gives them depth at the tackle position and second-year tackle Matt Peart more time to develop if need be.
