Report: Giants’ Brown Was Cited For Violating Ex-Wife’s Protection Order

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)Giants kicker Josh Brown was reportedly cited last summer for violating a protection order two months after he was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Brown’s ex-wife, Molly, called police on July 14, 2015, after she claimed to see Brown driving by her house while she was leaving, ESPN reported Friday. Brown had been ordered to stay 500 feet away from her, according to the report.

Josh Brown has been suspended for the regular-season opener for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. The ban stems from the kicker’s May 22, 2015, arrest in Woodinville, Washington, on a fourth-degree domestic violence charge.
