Report: Dave Gettleman checking out Rutgers, Penn State game

With COVID-19 restrictions in place, New York Giants’ general manager Dave Gettleman has been pretty much only traveling to watch Rutgers play other Big 10 teams like Michigan. So this week he’s reportedly going to watch them play Penn State, according to Ryan Dunleavy of the NY Post.

Some players that Gettleman and the Giants are likely honing in on are Nittany Lions’ defensive end Jayson Oweh and linebacker Micah Parsons.

Oweh is a redshirt sophomore out of Hackensack, New Jersey who attended high school at Blair Academy. With him being 6-foot-5, 253 pounds, he would have to move to outside linebacker to fit in the Giants’ 3-4 defense.
