Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that former New York Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has signed with the Oakland Raiders.
Rodgers-Cromartie signed a five-year, $35 million contact with the Giants in the spring of 2014. With the Giants, he played outside corner, slot corner, and safety, and he played well — even when the rest of the defense didn’t.
With the arrival of the new regime in 2018, the Giants elected to move Rodgers-Cromartie from his reserve cornerback role to free safety, a move he embraced. However, DRC was released by the team in March after refusing to take a pay cut following his move.
