It’s been close to seven months now since Saquon Barkley suffered his serious right knee injury in only the second week of the 2020 season. But despite the immense progress Barkley has demonstrated, the New York Giants do not seem to be in any hurry to get him back too quickly.
ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reported earlier today that the “Giants are taking a cautious approach with the centerpiece of their offense and playing the long-range game” after he was told by a source that Barkley was “making good progress” in his recovery.
Barkley and the Giants have both been posting videos and images of the former 2018 second overall pick doing drills and working hard towards getting ready for the 2021 season.
