HOBOKEN — After being released by the Giants in 2014 and by then by the Jets last year, punter Steve Weatherford is putting his Hoboken condominium up for sale.
Weatherford is asking $1.8 million for his three-bedroom apartment on the eighth floor of the Maxwell Place building after he bought it in 2012, according to an announcement by Christopher Ozar of The Ozar Group at Liberty Realty, which is handling the listing.
The Giants' home venue, Metlife Stadium in the Meadowlands Sports Complex, is just a few miles west of Hoboken, and Weatherford lived in the apartment with his wife, Laura, and their four children, Liberty said.
