After two games of the offense struggling to get into gear, the Giants, led by a vintage performance from Eli Manning snapped a season-opening two-game losing streak by beating the Houston Texans 27-22 on Sunday at NRG Stadium.
Buoyed by a game-plan that saw Manning frequently roll out to make throws outside the pocket, the 37-year-old quarterback finished Sunday's game completing 25-of-29 passing attempts for 297 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and sans a turnover.
"Eli played a good game," Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said Sunday.
