LANDOVER, Md. — It all is falling into place, but even with the NFC East pretenders imploding all around them, the Giants know they are not going to win the division owning just five wins.
It has been 13 days since they last played, and in that time the rest of the division went 1-4, allowing the Giants to increase their lead and strengthen their hold on first place. For all the good fortune, the Giants haven’t done a whole lot this season to deserve their drivers-seat status.
But here they are, coming off their bye and faced with the second-place Redskins (4-6) at FedEx Field.
