He’s Landon on his feet.
The Redskins are blowing Landon Collins away, as the two agreed to a six-year deal for $84 million on Monday, NFL Network first reported. The pact will have $45 million guaranteed for the safety whom the Giants weren’t willing to pay $11.15 million for one season, choosing against issuing Collins the franchise tag.
The 25-year-old was a Pro Bowler in three of his four seasons with the Giants, who believed him to be too much of a box safety and too deficient in coverage to be brought back. So he’ll be a rival Redskin, and a very rich one.
