NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Following the Giants’ collapse against the Cowboys this past Sunday night, running back Rashad Jennings revealed that he was told not to score in Big Blue’s final series.
There were many questions about the end of the game, and quarterback Eli Manning admitted publicly that he was the one who told Jennings not to get into the end zone.
On Wednesday morning, Jennings penned a first-person editorial in the New York Post. In the column, he apologized to his quarterback.
“First of all, let me say that I want to apologize from my heart for the negative light that I unintentionally cast my quarterback and friend Eli Manning in,” Jennings wrote.
