For three quarters, the Giants played winning defense against the Saints while the offense fell short.

In the fourth quarter, the Giants made big plays on offense and special teams while the defense fell short.

The disjointed play is one of the telltale signs of a losing team, and the Giants are off to a 1-3 start after a 33-18 loss to the Saints.

"We've just got to clean up the details and keep moving," coach Pat Shurmur said. "And we believe in our guys, we believe in our team, and we've just got to do what we do better.
