ARLINGTON, Tex. - For nearly four quarters of football, they looked like the best defense on the field, a unit that forced three Cowboy turnovers and made few mistakes.
And then they were the same old Giants again, collapsing as they've done so often in these last three years, leaving Tony Romo too much time to win it.
With 13 seconds left and a six-point lead they'd spent 59 minutes building, the Giants faced a driving Romo, were on their heels on third-and-2 from their own 11. But nobody could cover Romo's old reliable tight end, Jason Witten, who posted up in front of the end zone and caught the go-ahead score, capping a six-play, 72-yard drive and sending Big Blue to a stunning 27-26 loss at AT&T Stadium.
