Jay Bromley is from Queens, so he more than most players is equipped to understand what the Giants-Jets game means.
“I grew up watching both teams and my first ever game was a Jets game,” Bromley said. “It should be good.”
Bromley knows this is bigger for the fans than the players.
“It’s more about bragging rights more than anything,” he said. “We share the same stadium, share the same city. Both teams have been good a certain amount of times. It’s a struggle.”
The defensive tackle said he hasn’t heard from many friends back home either urging him to beat the Jets or pleading with him to take it easy on them, depending on their rooting preference.
