Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports that the Patriots hosted Giants restricted free agent DE Kerry Wynn on a visit Wednesday.
The Giants placed an original-round tender on Wynn a few days before the start of free agency last month. The tender would cost the Giants around $1.797 million for the 2017 season and gives them the right of first refusal for any offer sheet he receives from another team during free agency.
Wynn, 26, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Richmond back in 2014. He played out his rookie three-year, $1,537,500 contract with the Giants.
