The preseason is over for the New York Giants. They won two games and lost two games. Whatever! Odell Beckham Jr. got his big contract. Hooray!! They got through with no major injuries, with only Darian Thompson (hamstring) and Olivier Vernon (ankle) of real concern. Phew!!!
Now, the Giants get down to brass tacks.
They will have to set a 53-man roster on Saturday. GM Dave Gettleman promised Thursday that the Giants would “keep the 53 best” players and then look to the waiver wire to try and upgrade wherever they can.
