Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy, under whose tutelage Ben McAdoo learned his craft before coming to the New York Giants, congratulated McAdoo Thursday on his ascension to the head-coaching ranks. McAdoo was an offensive position coach in Green Bay before becoming Giants' offensive coordinator.
