New York Giants’ defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa has been suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the 2017 season for a violation of the league’s policy on performance enhancing substances.
Odighizuwa, 25, will be eligible to return to the Giants’ active roster on Monday, Oct. 2 after the team’s October 1 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Odighizuwa can participate in all remaining preseason practices and games.
Odighizuwa, a 2015 third-round pick, has been a disappointment. He has only three tackle and no sacks in his two seasons with the Giants.
