The 2019 NFL season is (slowly) approaching, and while the various teams begin to ramp up in anticipation of opening weekend, so is the sports betting industry in Las Vegas.
Sportsbook operator CG Technology is the first to release opening lines for the upcoming season, and they aren’t terribly optimistic about the New York Giants record for this year, predicting them to finish 4-11 through the season’s first 16 weeks. Their pessimism regarding the Giants in 2019 isn’t new and they projected the Giants to finish with a 6-10 record when they released their preliminary win total projection back on March 31st.
