One good sign for the Giants’ offensive line, but it’s a small one

It was an unsightly start for the yet-again revamped Giants offensive line in the first half of Monday night’s 23-20 loss to the Falcons in Atlanta. Eli Manning was sacked four times, Saquon Barkley gained 8 yards on seven rushing attempts and the Giants went in at halftime with three points.

So much for a pick-me-up from the reshuffled line, which had Spencer Pulley as the starting center for the first time this season and John Greco moving from center to right guard. That is the bad news. The good news — it is hard to find — is the line was better in the second half, as Manning attempted 22 passes and was not sacked once.
