So much as gone on, and yet Johnathan Hankins remains unaffected.
The two biggest stories swirling around this summer — Jason Pierre-Paul’s fireworks accident and the dizzying array of injuries — caused much negativity around the Giants. Hankins, though, has tried to fill some of the void left by JPP’s absence and has been one of the most durable players, not missing a thing as the preseason, thankfully, nears an end.
Pierre-Paul far and away is the Giants’ most accomplished defensive player but he has stayed away, set to return only when he is close to getting on the field as a nine-fingered pass rusher.
