Offensive lineman Jon Halapio took to Twitter Monday morning to announce that he will be returning to the New York Giants. Halapio, an exclusive rights free agent, has been tendered by the Giants.
The Giants confirmed the news Monday afternoon.
Halapio, 26, appeared in 10 games with six starts at right guard for the Giants in 2017. Those were the only games he has played in during his NFL career. Halapio played 403 snaps. Halapio also worked extensively at center during the 2017 preseason.
The Giants have re-signed two backup interior offensive linemen, Halapio and veteran John Greco.
