That is the reality for the Giants as they brace to make an immense financial commitment to Odell Beckham Jr.
Had Beckham not missed most of last season after fracturing his left ankle and had he been a model of comportment during his four years with the franchise, he most likely would have already secured a mega-deal. Those two factors — injury and behavior — are mere speed bumps, delaying the inevitable marriage of Beckham and the Giants for years to come.
The Giants understand Beckham deserves to cash in.
