It is getting late early again for the Giants, and Giants fans have flocked into the Panic Room.
Odell Beckham Jr. will not be joining them in there. Not yet anyway. Not now, at 1-3 and a trip to Carolina staring the Giants in their frustrated faces.
But 1-4 with the Eagles lurking next Thursday night would be another matter entirely.
“There does need to be a sense of urgency to play better, do better, execute, win games,” Beckham said. “But there’s definitely not a panic in my mind, my body, my heart.”
The Giants still have three-quarters of the season to be who they thought they were.
