Odell Beckham Jr. starts Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund with a $100K donation

After seeing firsthand the devastation Hurricane Katrina caused in his native Louisiana, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. felt compelled to help the city of Houston recover from Hurricane Harvey.

Beckham started a Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund on Wednesday with an initial donation of $100,000. And now he's looking for help.

"Please join me to help Texans in their time of need," Beckham writes on his Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund page. "Funds donated here will be collected by the Direct Impact Fund and will be split equally between Americares and Samaritan's Purse.
