That was Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants on Thursday, kiddingly chiding running back Saquon Barkley for straining a hamstring during practice early in the week. Beckham, in case you don’t remember, missed the first four games of the season during his 2014 rookie season because of a hamstring injury.
On a serious note, Beckham did have some advice for the exciting rookie.
“I told him, just take your time. There’s nothing you need to prove to any of us, there’s nothing you need to prove to anybody. You know what you’re capable of, I know what you’re capable of, we know what you’re capable of, it’s just about getting healthy,” Beckham said.
