Odell Beckham Jr. appealed fines

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has appealed his fines from weeks one and two.

From Jason la Canfora of CBS Sports:

Odell Beckham, Jr. is awaiting word on both of his in-season NFL fines incurred in 2016, according to a league source, having appealed both sanctions already.

Beckham was fined just over $12,000 for joining teammate Victor Cruz in a salsa-dancing touchdown celebration. In Week 2 he was fined just over $36,000 for an illegal block on Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro. The star receiver has filed a formal appeal for both decisions, and it generally takes upward of a month for players to learn whether or not their fines have been decreased or rescinded.
