EAST RUTHERFORD -- Even with Damon Harrison making his offseason practice debut, the Giants didn't have a full complement of star power for the start of the second week of organized team activities.
Wide receiver Odell Beckham and cornerback Janoris Jenkins both skipped the fourth of the 10 voluntary practices. Neither absence was a Tuesday morning surprise to head coach Pat Shurmur, however.
Beckham's absence is the most newsworthy because he is both recovering from a broken ankle and unhappy with his current contract. He has played nice by reporting to the three-day voluntary pre-draft minicamp and the start of OTAs, slowly increasing his workload in individual drills.
