When Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was named a captain for Sunday’s Pro Bowl, it set him up to draft a full team on Wednesday night.
And Eli Manning had a message for his top target before the draft.
“I told Odell, I said, ‘Odell, hey, I know you’re a captain. Don’t feel any pressure to draft me,’” Manning said. “‘But if you don’t draft me, don’t expect to catch any balls next year. No pressure at all.’ I left it at that, and I think he’ll make an educated decision at the draft.”
Beckham apparently got the message.
