Las Vegas bookmakers do not expect Eli Manning to put on a cape Monday night and lead the Giants to their first victory in more than two months. Shortly after it was announced Manning likely would start at Philadelphia in place of injured rookie Daniel Jones, Big Blue became even bigger underdogs.
The Eagles had been favored by 8¹/u2082 points across the board at sportsbooks on The Strip. The line increased to nine at some and now is 9¹/u2082 at William Hill, Westgate SuperBook, Caesars, Wynn and others.
“We moved the number [to Eagles -9¹/u2082], but were mostly just following the market,” John Murray, director of race and sports at the Westgate, told The Post.
