According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the NY Giants are “not” trading for Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
Raanan adds that he feels “99.99% about that.”
Ramsey recently requested a trade from the Jaguars, although, Jacksonville would reportedly rather keep him.
The Giants are currently the league’s 32nd ranked pass defense, so a player like Ramsey would certainly help in that category.
But considering the price they’d have to pay (most likely a first-round pick and more) and the position they are in (a rebuilding team), one could understand why they wouldn’t be interested.
