According to Dan Sileo, the NY Giants have taken trade calls for quarterback Eli Manning.
Sileo lists the Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Pittsburgh Steelers as teams who have shown interest.
Erik Lambert of SportsMockery.com, a Chicago-based sports page, added that he’s heard the same.
Manning does have a no-trade clause, so he would have to approve any trade that would happen.
But it’s very clear that Manning was retained this season by the Giants to be a mentor for rookie quarterback Daniel Jones.
