According to Matt Lombardo of NJ.com, the Giants are not shopping outside linebacker Olivier Vernon.
Lombardo adds that Vernon’s $4 million in dead cap money would be added to this year’s cap.
Thus, putting the Giants over the salary cap limit.
The Giants would save over $11 million by cutting him this offseason, which seems very likely at his point.

Vernon missed the first five games of the season due to an ankle injury.
