According to Art Stapleton of The Record, NY Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard is “ready to go” for Week 1 vs the Dallas Cowboys.
He adds that Shepard hasn’t worn a splint in practice on his fractured left thumb in over a week.
The fourth-year wideout injured his thumb early in training camp but it seems like he’ll be fine for opening day.
Bennie Fowler, Russell Shepard, Cody Latimer, Darius Slayton, and Cody Core follow Shepard on the wide receiver depth chart.
