According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, NY Giants running back Saquon Barkley will miss 4-8 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
Barkley injured his ankle in Sunday’s game vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and did not play in the second half.
The Giants will roll with Wayne Gallman as their RB1 with an expected practice squad promotion and Eli Penny as backup options.
Schefter expects Barkley to be back for the final six games of the season.
