According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, the NY Giants are expected to make a roster prior to Thursday’s game vs the New England Patriots.
And Duggan believes that roster move will come in the form of running back Austin Walter being promoted from the practice squad.
With Saquon Barkley and Wayne Gallman both not expected to play, Walter would add much-needed depth.
Eli Penny and Jon Hilliman are the only healthy running backs on the Giants current roster.
A move should be made by tomorrow, at the latest.
