According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, the NY Giants have released tight end C.J. Conrad from the practice squad.
Conrad signed with the Giants this past offseason when he went undrafted out of Kentucky.
He caught eight passes for 62 yards during the preseason.
He was later waived and then signed to the Giants practice squad.
But with the team claiming former San Francisco 49ers tight end Kaden Smith on Monday, the Giants chose against keeping Conrad.
