According to Paul Schwartz of the NY Post, Giants outside linebacker Olivier Vernon will make his season debut on Thursday vs the Eagles after not appearing on the Wednesday injury report.
Vernon injured his ankle during a practice in late-August.
The Giants are currently 31st in the league in sacks, so Vernon’s presence will be a welcomed one.
He is making the transition from 4-3 defensive end, which he’s been over the last two seasons, to 3-4 outside linebacker.
Evan Engram (knee) has been ruled OUT.
